
Ecaterina Magas is part of the research team at the Institute of Political Studies and Social Capital in Chernivtsi. She holds a degree from “Ștefan cel Mare” University in Suceava, specializing in International Relations and European Studies. She is a master’s student at the same higher education institution, in the study program: Management of International Relations and Cross-Border Cooperation.
She is a translator of Ukrainian-Russian-Romanian, participating in the implementation team of international projects such as “Prevention and Response to GBV, including Support to People at Risk and GBV Survivors” (information and support groups), RISEGO (individual consultant/student supervisor in the secondary education project). She collaborates with associative environments in Ukraine and Romania, especially with the Institute for Social Partnership Bucovina Association, Sensiblu Foundation, and World Vision Romania Foundation.
Areas of expertise: political communication in international relations, hybrid warfare, deconstruction of false narratives, regional, ethnic, and national identities.
