The Director of the IPSSC, Marin Gherman, took part in a programme on Radio România Actualități, offering an analysis of how Russian (both official and independent) and Ukrainian media outlets portray the peace proposal associated with the administration of Donald Trump.
The discussion focused on propaganda narratives that shift responsibility for the war onto the European Union, the overlap between corruption scandals in Ukraine and media reactions to the proposed plan, as well as the connection between media discourse and ongoing military and political developments in the region.
The programme also addressed the situation of the Romanian community in Ukraine and emphasized the need to strengthen mechanisms for cooperation and information exchange among neighboring states in the current security context.
